All shippable products come in a simple white cardboard box. As the software is not designed for the retail channel, expensive printed boxes are not appropriate or necessary.
For quantities up to 100 per quarter, standard reseller pricing (30% discount) applies, with packages shipped from me to you where applicable, otherwise electronic download. For quantities greater than 100 per quarter, a reseller contract can be arranged, which guarantees a minimum quantity of sales, payable quarterly in advance, with additional sales over the minimum quantity payable at the end of each quarter. Such a contract provides the reseller with a master CD-ROM for duplication. On a case by case basis I may also provide a manual master document for local printing, for example where the Manual is translated in to the local language.
The product is already exceptional value, and no educational discounts are available.

I are open to creating custom versions of PiXCL. An Agreement for selling a Custom version entails
An up front charge for the customizing of the EXE executables and resources, and one year's development support i.e. as I add new commands and features, I have to build a new version for you as well. This has a one time minimum charge of C$2500. Additional days work over five are billed at standard rates. If customization involves additional command DLL development, this too is chargeable at my standard development rates. The development support contract has to be renewed each year.
Once you have your new custom version, you get the first number of sales royalty free, then I get 25% percent of each sale. For example, lets say your retail price is $150, and your startup costs were $3000, your first 20 sales are all yours. So you recoup your up front costs quickly.
I provide a UserID/Password controlled Reseller Web page (like the registered users) where you get the latest version.
Copyright remains with SJD Software at all times. If however I develop for you, or you develop, CUSTOM command extension DLLs, then these are your copyright, and can be sold as you want. Hence, custom extensions are very good way of adding value and differentiating the product. For example, we have a client in New Jersey for whom I developed a large custom DLL (260 new commands to support a special video disk system hardware/software system that retails for us$5000+), and this goes with a suite of applications written in PiXCL.
All programming and tech support is run from my Web site, with Registered User pages accessed by UserID and Password. A Reseller is required to place links to www.pixcl.com on their Web site. Resellers can also provide local mirrors or their own users group if desired.
I provides Resellers with the latest version of the products and advance information on new development through my Registered User Web pages.
A written contract is required, and
is valid for 12 calender months, with the option to extend.
