THIS FORM IS NOT A PURCHASE AGREEMENT. It is provided only for on-line registration to people who want to download the free version 4.8 of PiXCL here, or have already downloaded from my FTP site or elsewhere on the Web.

By submitting this form, you are agreeing to become a Registered User (and hence get free Tech Support) and accept the following terms and conditions:

Software License Agreement

This is an agreement between you and SJD Software ("Author"). By using this software, you are agreeing to become bound by the terms of this agreement.

Author grants you a non-exclusive license to use the software on a single computer or cpu.
Author retains the copyright, title and ownership of the software and written materials regardless of the form and media of the original. You may make one backup copy for backup purposes. This backup copy must include all files and copyright notices.
You may physically transfer the software from one computer to another provided the software is used on one computer at a time. You may not distribute copies of the software or accompanying documentation to others. You may not transfer the software or documentation to any person without the prior written consent of Author. In no event may you transfer, assign, rent, lease or otherwise dispose of the software on a temporary basis.
You are not permitted to patch, disassemble or recompile the Windows program code. You are not permitted to add additional resources or modify existing resources. The sole specific exception is the replacement of any of the existing icons for program development purposes, and this must be done using a suitable icon replacement tool, not a resource compiler, as the former does not change the binary file size or arrangement.
This License is effective until terminated. This license will automatically terminate without notice from Author if you fail to comply with the provisions of the License.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: Author disclaims all other Warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied Warranty of Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
AUTHOR EXPRESSLY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY THEORY OF LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, AND THE LIKE) WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT EVEN IF AUTHOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In any event where warranties are found to exist, such warranties shall be limited in duration to thirty (30) days following the date of delivery to you. In no event shall Author's liability to you exceed the amount paid for the license to use the software, which in this specific case, is nothing.
This License shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, CANADA and shall benefit Author, his heirs, successors and assigns.

Do please tell me a bit about yourself. While this section is optional, it will help me to understand my users better, and more importantly, clarify the direction of additional development. For example, a surprisingly large number of registrants are over 50, and have minimal or legacy language (eg Fortran) programming background. Around 90 percent are male.

Privacy Statement

All your personal details are kept strictly confidential and are used for internal marketting and product development purposes only. I will never make user lists available to third parties under any circumstances, unless legally obligated to do so. I do send the occasional email newsletter to registered users. I don't make hard sell phone calls. I have called a few users (in USA and Canada) only to clarify download or installation issues.
